Who We Are
The Coalition to Protect Kids-NY is a ballot issue committee registered with the New York State Board of Elections. We are comprised of New Yorkers from all walks of life dedicated to defeating Prop One to the New York State Constitution, or as we call it, the Parent Replacement Act
We Are A Diverse Community
The Coalition to Protect Kids is a culturally diverse community of people and organizations, both secular and faith based, striving together to promote and defend the rights and dignity of all.

As forward thinkers, who believe all have the right to enjoy the freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and that no one should be discriminated against on the basis of religion or belief, as we researched, studied and explored the possible ramifications of the Equal Rights Amendment, there undoubtedly seems to be an unspoken hostility towards parents and parental rights.

We Believe In Family
As a society, we have always recognized that there's an inherent curse in making light of parental control of their children. The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State. Motherhood, fatherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance.

We note with serious concern the increase of intolerance in matters relating to religion or belief, of cases of incitement to religious hatred, overt or covert. While emphasizing the importance of the
freedom of expression, we deplore portrayals of objects of religious veneration which fail to be properly respectful of the sensibilities of believers. We consider the freedom to have, to retain and to adopt a religion or belief of one’s personal choice, without coercion or inducement, to be an undeniable right.
